Omar Thrower Among New Partners at Wilke CPAs & Advisors

Omar K. Thrower, CPA, MST joined two colleagues as he was promoted to Tax Partner, effective January 1, 2022. Omar’s diligent and client-focused attitude propelled him to earn this promotion.

Omar joined Wilke & Associates in August 2019. His entire career has been in public accounting, with prior experience in small and large regional firms. In his current role, Omar is responsible for providing tax planning and compliance services to businesses and their owners. He prepares and reviews partnership, corporation, and individual tax returns. He also assists clients with budgeting, cash flow, and general business planning.

 

He works primarily with the following businesses:

  • Manufacturing
  • Medical Professionals
  • Construction Contractors
  • Distributors, and
  • Real Estate Investors.

Says Partner Peter Fleming, “Omar has been a solid tax leader for our firm and has enjoyed the respect of his peers for his diligence and experience. He will be very important in the coming years assisting the tax leadership we bring to our clients.”

His ability to apply IRS rules and regulations to client-specific circumstances and find ways to deliver tax-saving ideas sets him apart. Omar enjoys the challenge of varying work and helping clients solve sometimes complex business and tax problems.

Omar earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and his Master of Taxation from Robert Morris University.
