SCORE Small Business Basics Workshop

This workshop is intended to help your dream get off to the right start by studying the legal requirements of starting a business, and subjects that will impact the success or failure of your plans. You will learn about developing an effective business plan, record keeping and taxes, bank loan financing, marketing, insurance, and legal aspects of operating your organization.

Wilke & Associates, Pittsburgh’s leading CPA firm, will be there to cover Good Business Practices for Recordkeeping and Taxes.  You will learn the importance of good recordkeeping, types of recordkeeping, how recordkeeping affects taxes, how to recognize and properly record expenses, and tips on choosing the right entity for you.
