Omar K. Thrower, CPA, MST joined Wilke in August 2019 as a Tax Manager and was promoted to Partner in January 2022. He is responsible for providing tax planning and compliance services to businesses and their owners. He prepares and reviews partnership, corporation, and individual tax returns. He also assists clients with budgeting, cash flow, and general business planning.

Omar primarily works with the following businesses:

• Manufacturing
• Medical Professionals
• Construction Contractors
• Distributors
• Real Estate Investors

His favorite part of his job is helping clients solve their business and tax problems. He’s recognized as a proactive, diligent advisor. Omar knew he wanted to pursue tax and consulting as a career because he enjoys business and the opportunity to work with clients in a wide range of industries. He finds the work to be enjoyable and challenging, and there are always opportunities to grow and learn.

Omar earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and his Master of Taxation from Robert Morris University. Outside of work, he enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with his wife and family. People might be surprised to learn that Omar likes to read biographies and watch movies based on real-life events.
