David Wilke, CPA, MBA Co-Managing Partner and Founder

David Wilke founded the firm in 1998 with a desire to redefine traditional public accounting with his own growing family in mind. His vision to empower employees to work together, even on their own schedules, continues to be a defining characteristic of the firm’s culture. In this collaborative environment, the firm grew to include 60 employees and 2,000+ clients.

David is a 2022 recipient of the Smart 50 Awards for his ability to effectively build and lead a successful organization in the Greater Pittsburgh region. Additionally, this award speaks to the firm’s dedication to innovation, impact, and sustainability.

Recently, David expanded the company leadership team to include the first CEO and redefined his title as Co-Managing Partner, a role shared with long-time colleague Peter Fleming.

David’s career has been dedicated to advocating for privately held businesses. His areas of expertise range from tax/business planning and accounting to business coaching and consulting for nonprofit organizations. His leadership style has been described as inclusive, conscientious, and team-oriented.

He is a past nominee for the Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Accountant Advocate of the Year. David has been a guest speaker at Duquesne University’s Small Business Development Center on a variety of topics.

He earned his MBA in Accounting and Finance from Duquesne University. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He has served on the Board of Directors for Light of Life Rescue Mission of Pittsburgh for ten years and counting.
