General Ledger Manager

Description: The individual in this full-time position will be responsible for the accurate and timely review and compilation of general ledger accounting and reporting for assigned clients. Candidate will identify issues, risks, opportunities and make recommendations to solve problems for clients through proactive planning and budgeting. Candidate may also assist with the production of compiled and reviewed financial statements. This professional is expected to maintain positive client relations and deliver consistent client communication and service. Confidentiality is required.

Expectations for consideration
• Proficient with general ledger analysis, monthly/bank reconciliations
• Working knowledge of research techniques and various resources in firm library
• Understand the full cycle of accounting and payroll
• Present conclusions and recommendations to management
• Facilitate client portals (Data Room)
• Understand professional standards and applicable legal and regulatory requirements along with firm’s policies and procedures
• Travel to and from client locations

Skills and Qualifications: Must have excellent communication skills as the candidate must be able to interface consistently with assigned clients. Candidate must be able to analyze, compile, simplify and communicate data to small business owners. Must be able to handle and complete multiple tasks in a time-sensitive manner. 3 (three) years of professional general ledger experience and competence with Intuit and Sage products a plus.

Tax Manager

Description: The individual in this full-time position will be responsible for the accurate and timely review and analysis of income tax accounting and reporting for assigned clients. Candidate will clearly identify issues, risks, opportunities and make recommendations and solve problems for clients through proactive planning and budgeting. Candidate may also assist with the production of compiled and reviewed financial statements. This professional is expected to maintain positive client relations and deliver consistent client communication and service. Confidentiality is required.

Expectations for consideration
• Familiar with pertinent IRC, state and municipal sections and regulations
• Working knowledge of research techniques and various resources in firm library
• Become proficient in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and other returns
• Responsible for completion of tax returns under the supervision of more experienced staff
• Present conclusions and recommendations to management
• Facilitate client portals (Data Room)
• Understand professional standards and applicable legal and regulatory requirements along with firm’s policies and procedures
• Travel to and from client locations

Skills and Qualifications: Must have excellent communication skills as the candidate must be able to interface consistently with assigned clients. Candidate must be able to analyze, compile, simplify and communicate data to small business owners. Must be able to handle and complete multiple tasks in a time-sensitive manner. Minimum of two (2) years of professional tax experience for this position. CPA designation and Public Accounting experience preferred. Competence with Intuit and Sage products a plus.

Audit Manager

Description: Individual in this full-time position will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements for assigned clients. Candidate will identify issues, risks, opportunities and make recommendations and solve problems for clients through proactive planning and budgeting. Candidate may also assist with tax planning, general ledger preparation, and / or Valuations. This professional is expected to maintain positive client relations and deliver consistent client communication and service. Confidentiality is required.

Expectations for consideration
• Proficient with preparing financial statements and performing operational, financial, and process review of all operations during attest engagements
• Prepare practical recommendations to improve controls, cash flow, quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability during attest engagements
• Participate as an advisor in a wide variety of management requests: acquisition and divesture due diligence, fraud investigations, process mapping, improvement teams for attest clients
• Working knowledge of research techniques and various resources in firm library
• Assume responsibility for unaudited financial statement engagements or segments of audit engagement under the supervision of more experienced staff
• Become familiar with pronouncements of the FASB, AICPA, GAO and GASB
• Present conclusions and recommendations to management
• Facilitate client portals (Data Room)
• Understand professional standards and applicable legal and regulatory requirements along with firm’s policies and procedures
• Travel to and from client locations

Skills and Qualifications: Must have excellent communication skills as the candidate must be able to interface consistently with assigned clients. Candidate must be able to analyze, compile, simplify and communicate data to small business owners. Must be able to handle and complete multiple tasks in a time-sensitive manner. 3 (three) years of professional audit competence with Intuit & Sage products and CPA a plus.
